يُستخدم Future in the Past Perfect Continuous للتحدث عن حدث كان من المتوقع أن يكون قد استمر لمدة معينة قبل نقطة زمنية مستقبلية، ولكن من وجهة نظر الماضي.
بمعنى آخر:
في الماضي، كان هناك توقع بأن شخصًا سيكون قد أمضى مدة من الزمن وهو يقوم بفعل معين.
متى نستخدمه؟
نستخدمه عندما:
ننقل كلامًا عن فعل كان سيستمر حتى وقت معين.
نتحدث عن مدة زمنية متوقعة في المستقبل بالنسبة للماضي.
نركز على مدة استمرار الفعل وليس فقط انتهائه.
