ما هي Comparisons؟
المقارنة (Comparisons) هي طريقة نستخدمها للمقارنة بين الأشخاص أو الأشياء أو الأماكن أو الأفكار.
في اختبار STEP تعتبر من أكثر القواعد تكرارًا، وغالبًا تأتي في أسئلة الإكمال أو اكتشاف الخطأ.
أنواع المقارنة
يوجد أربعة أنواع رئيسية:
Comparative
Superlative
As...as
Less / Least
أولاً: Comparative (صيغة المقارنة)
نستخدمها عند المقارنة بين شيئين فقط.

متى نستخدم Than؟
كلما رأيت مقارنة بين شيئين، غالبًا ستجد كلمة:

ثانياً: Superlative (صيغة التفضيل)
نستخدمها عندما نقارن بين ثلاثة أشياء أو أكثر.

Less
تستخدم للمقارنة بين شيئين.

تستخدم مع ثلاثة أشياء أو أكثر.

نصائح مهمة لاختبار STEP
1. إذا كانت المقارنة بين شخصين فقط، استخدم Comparative.
2. إذا كانت المقارنة بين ثلاثة أشياء أو أكثر، استخدم Superlative.
3. لا تستخدم More مع الصفات القصيرة.

Comparative: للمقارنة بين شيئين → taller than / more beautiful than.
